Honda Fit Earns Top Spot on KBB.com "10 Best Back-to-School Cars of 2017" List

Last month, Kelley Blue Book's KBB.com announced their annual "10 Best Back-to-School Cars 2017" list, with Honda placing more vehicles make the list than any other manufacturer. The 2017 Honda Fit subcompact landed in the top spot, while the 2017 Honda Civic sedan and 2017 Honda HR-V SUV took third and fourth places respectively.

KBB.com editors noted that the Honda Fit provides the value, reliability and safety parents want without sacrificing factors students look for, such as style, storage flexibility and engaging driving dynamics.

The Honda Civic was described as being a good first new car for nearly everyone, especially students.

The Honda HR-V, introduced only a year ago, has established itself as the standard-bearer in the subcompact SUV segment.

To put their list together, KBB.com staff evaluated all vehicles that have a Kelley Blue Book Fair Purchase Price purchase price of less than $20,000, then cull the list to the vehicles they feel are the most appealing to parents and their students alike.
